We collect only what's needed to run NestLog:

• Account info — your name and email address when you sign up.
• Home data — rooms, items, photos, receipts, and maintenance records you add.
• Usage data — basic logs (pages visited, errors) to keep the service running smoothly.

We do not collect your location, financial information, or any data beyond what you explicitly provide.

• To provide and improve the NestLog service.
• To send you account-related emails (password resets, important updates).
• To send optional monthly maintenance tips if you subscribe to our newsletter.

We never use your data to train AI models or for targeted advertising.

Your information is never sold, rented, or shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for marketing purposes. Period.

We use a small number of trusted services to operate NestLog:

• Cloud storage & hosting — to store your files securely.
• Authentication provider — to handle secure sign-in.
• Error monitoring — to detect and fix bugs quickly.

These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to us.

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). We follow security best practices and review our infrastructure regularly. If a breach ever occurs, we will notify affected users promptly.

You have full control over your data:

• Export — download all your data at any time from Settings.
• Delete — permanently delete your account and all associated data, no questions asked.
• Correct — update or correct any information in your account.
• Opt out — unsubscribe from emails at any time.

We use only essential cookies needed to keep you logged in and the app functioning. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

NestLog is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or a prominent notice in the app before the change takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
